WINE PRODUCTION IS OUR LONG-TERM LOVE.<\/h1><\/div>

WINE PRODUCTION<\/strong> was started by our grandfathers. The wine was produced for personal use as it was said only “for home”. The convenient location and microclimate favored the development of winemaking on our property, so we continued the 80-year tradition using modern knowledge and technology.<\/p>\n<\/div>

We are constantly investing in advancing technology, but we never forget the love that binds us to wine and vineyards.<\/p>\n<\/div>

LITTLE TOWN OF<\/h6><\/div>

KOSTANJICA<\/h1><\/div>

Medieval town of Kostanjica (Castagna), not far from Gro\u017enjan (Grisignana), overlooks the valley of the Mirna (Quieto) River. Once also known for the boatmen who used to transport goods along the river, all the way to the sea, today it is particularly well-known in the world of wine. We, the Zigante family, are among the local producers of the area. Linked to vine and wine trough tradition and passion we are also proud to have had master coopers in our family. For instance, our great-grandfather, Giovnni, made his own barrels with great craftsmanship and used them to store the wine he produced. THfnks to his experience and the new, recently adopted techniques, today we are proud to produce vines with a registered designation of origin. Aside from the many awards we received, we are delighte\u20ac by the numerous favourable opinions provided directly by wine lovers. Cheers!<\/p>\n<\/div>
